JJ2 Secret 14:16
SpazRS has found out a cool trick in JJ2. Since he has made his own webpage explaining how to do it, I won't explain how to do it on J2C. You can find the tutorial located at jazzjackrabbit.hypermart.net/secret.html.

New McClory Layout 14:16
McClory.com has received it's "final" layout. Be sure to check out Alienator's profesional and awesome looking design.

Tileset Template 14:09
I've received quite a few complaints saying that the tileset template on J2C won't open. I just realized that this is because the grid we have is a Photo Shop file and only works there. So, if you want to create a tileset using anything but Photo Shop, you'll want to download the file in BMP format. Or, you can always get the .psd file.

Tileset Creating 18:25
We constantly receive e-mails asking how to make tilesets. Predator has submitted some simple steps on creatings tilesets, which are below. You also may want to check out the Tileset Tutorial for Photo Shop here on J2C or the Tileset Mini-Manual in the JCS help file, Dean's tutorial to tileset creating.

First, get the tileset grid here. Then, copy it into Paint and draw in the tiles. (that step will probably take a long time) After you have that finished, open JCS and click on "Set". From there, choose "Add" and type in the name of the tileset and location of the BMP file you created. Click OK, highlight your tileset, and choose "Build". You are then ready to use the tileset.

People's Logos 18:01
The NEW spaz has moved People's Logos to a new address with more webspace: peoples-logos.mypage.org. For those who don't know, this website holds various logos submitted by J2 fans. (visit the page for examples) The NEW spaz is always looking for new logos, so be sure to submit yours.

Jazz on Emulation Zone 17:56
Thanks to Jazz Central & jb! for this news:

Jazz Jackrabbit has been posted on the Emulation Zone as the "official Easter Bunny for next millenium." (look on the main page in the left column.) I can't figure out why they would post that, but it's pretty cool. :)

Ghost Trick 19:57
Aceldama has discovered an interesting trick. When a ghost is respawning, shoot the bottom of him and a green spiked ball will appear, as dipicted in this screen shot.

TSF Patch Problem 19:57
Atomic Feline has expressed some concerns with the TSF patch. It supposedly "wrecked" his computer. Please keep in mind that the TSF patch is only for fixing problems with the installation of the game. So, if TSF installed properly for you, don't download the patch.

JCS Reference Makes a Comeback!? 20:36
After recruiting a few people to help me out with the site, we've decided to alter the plans a bit. I'm currently working on the new layout for the site, and content should start popping up immediately. Keep your eye out for future updates!

Fan Art Goes Live! 20:28
Well, after hours upon hours of straining work, sleepless nights, and endless trips to the ba...kitchen, I have finally got the finished product online. The Fan Art seciton is finally up and waiting for submissions. Check it out here!

JCC Update 19:57
JCC has been updated for the last time. Since Eosnet servers are down alot, I have decided to move it back to its old location at Virtualave. You can now find JCC at jazzcomedy.virtualave.net. There are no banner adds either.

Flash Info 19:57
I spoke with Onag and he concluded that the Flash on J2C did not work because www.jazz2city.com was down, and the files were linked to that server. However, as a precaution the Flash was temporarily taken down. I'm not sure when it will be back up, but we may make a separate version of J2C for it instead of putting it on the current 800x600 and 1024x768 versions of the site.

Poll Fixed 18:59
I've fixed this weeks poll, which displayed a previous poll. So, if you haven't answered it yet, go ahead and do it.

Jazz Comedy Central Up 13:00
Jazz Comedy Central is finally back up. I (Alienator) have redone it completely and have given it a new more user friendly more attractive layout. If you do not visit JCC often, you should. It is the best Jazz Comedy site on the internet, and the only one :). Anyway, you can find the new URL to it at http://jcc.eosnet.com.

Fan-Art Submissions! 20:47
I, Charge, Have taken over the fan-art page on Jazz 2 City. If you recently submitted your fan art to Roaster..Then it got deleted! You need to re-send your fan-art to joe@mcclory.com.

Flash Problems 20:47
There are two problems with J2C. The first is that currently you can't access J2C at www.jazz2city.com, only www.mich.com/~j2c, which you know if you're viewing this page right now. (pass this on to others please) Also, Flash has been added to this site without my knowledge. Unfortunatley, it's buggy. I've contacted Onag and hopefully either we'll be able to fix it or we'll just take it down.

JJ2 Triva Game 20:23
The patch for the Jazz Jackrabbit 2 Trivia Game has been released. It should fix a lot of problems with the game. You can get the game and the patch at Zapped Productions.

Wrong Again.. 20:22
Yesterday I posted a code that created special colored fur which turned out to be nothing new or exciting. Even though the colors aren't too great, it does do something else, which is shown in this screen shot. Thanks to Spazie for the info & screen shot.

The Last Dodo 20:36
Ninja Dodo just released a nice looking JJ2 site. Visit The Last Dodo Habitat here.

Sorry.. 20:28
Here's the pic of the colored fur thing I posted below. I guess it wasn't anything new afterall. For now on I'll have to test these things before I post them. Sorry.

New Poll 16:19
Here's the results from the tileset poll according to the 214 people who responded. As I expected, Diamondus was ahead the entire time.

Castle (19) -9%-
Carrotus (42) -20%-
Psych (16) -7%-
Colonius (9) -4%-
Diamondus (53) -25%-
Medivo (26) -12%-

This weeks question is pretty simple... (see above)

Colored Fur 16:04
An anonymous person has sent in a tip for great looking colored fur. In your regedit, use this code for the player color: 00 0a 02 0d. (A tutorial for creating colored fur is located in the menu under "Colored Stuff") We don't have a screen shot yet and I haven't tried this personally, but it's supposed to be really cool... =)
