TSF Review 21:55
ChaosMan has located another TSF review by Glide Underground. I don't like some of the information and screen shots, not to mention that the review is pretty biased. (such as saying that Spaz is the best character.) Still, TSF did get a pretty good score of 89%.

No Plans for J3 16:52
According to Mark Rein, a Marketing employee at Epic, "there are no plans for a Jazz 3 at this point in time." If my sources are correct, this has nothing to do with the rumor that Jazz 3 was cancelled because TSF did badly in Europe, although I have no idea on how well TSF did.

So, at this point we should just look foward to the Gameboy version of Jazz Jackrabbit (see below) and wait and see how things work out.

JJ on Gameboy 16:49
As posted on Jazz Central:

Jazz Jackrabbit has been announced for Nintendo's Gameboy!!!
Go here, scroll down to the Future Release section. Keep scrolling down until you see Jazz Jackrabbit (Take 2).

Thanks to Fire Warrior 99'is DaBomb on the JMMB for discovering this. You can join the discussion here.

Well, this will give me a good excuse to buy a Gameboy. =)

Site Map Up 21:38
The Site Map has just been released. It includes an outline, index, and section descriptions for Jazz 2 City.

Players Guide 20:05
WON.net has posted Prima's Official Jazz Jackrabbit 2 Strategy Guide on their website. You can get complete walkthroughs of every level in Jazz 2 with pictures here.

On a minor note, I've cleaned up the menu a little. The link to the Site Map doesn't work yet, but it will in a little bit.

UDC Update 19:04
The Unofficial Daily Carrot has a slightly new layout, as you'll see when you enter the site. If you haven't been visiting UDC, you should check it out, as it is a great news resource. It recently hasn't been updated much because Alienator and Charge have been on vacation, but they're back now.

btw, the site map for this site will be up soon. I didn't even know that is was on the menu until a couple days ago. :)

New ToD's 14:51
Starting tomorrow is a brand-new batch of ToD's! The 30 new ones are filled with useful tips and crazy nonsense. So, be sure to check back each day, as you just never know what you may learn...

Last months ToD's have been added to the Old ToD list.

Clashing Heros 3D 14:21
Bartman has released the website for Clashing Heros 3D. For those who don't know, Clashing Heros 3D is bascially Jazz Jackrabbit in Doom. (well, it's more complicated than that) The website has all the info. I think that Bartman still needs more help with the project. If you would like to assist, e-mail him at mc1pc@pdq.net.

More Explanation 13:54
I've finally got some things figured out. Here's what's going to happen:

1. The Information Center is going to be cancelled. It's too much work and I don't think it will be a resource that will greatly asset the community.

2. The Fan Art is probably going to be scrapped and we're going to start over with it. I don't know where the pictures are, and it turns out that Onag only has a few pages. The test link at the Info Center leads to what we have of the Fan Art. I don't know anything about the TSF Giveaway mentioned there. When the time arrives, you will need to resubmit the pictures you sent to Dethman. Don't expect to see anything from the Fan Art page until this summer, as I need Onag's help and he's busy with college and work right now.

3. An upgrade for J2C is currently in progress involving Flash. More info in the future..

4. I have received many e-mails from people who are willing to help with this site. Thank you for all of your kind offers to help, but I am not hiring anybody at this time. I first need to see what everybody who is part of our current staff is doing. After my evaluation, I will hire people if we need extra assistance.

Hopefully after our improvements we will once again deserve the logo of the "#1 Jazz 2 Site".

btw, Happy Memorial Day! =)

Explanation 21:43
First thing, I've been working on Downloads throughout yesterday and today, so be sure to check back on Memorial Day (Monday) for a bunch of stuff to download.

If you haven't noticed, the quality being protrayed on J2C has fallen within the last few months. Dethman and Onag no longer update, the Fan Art and Info Center *still* aren't up, and delays on other things are frequent. (the Downloads is a good example of this.) I'm not sure if we deserve the title of "The #1 Jazz 2 Site" anymore, as our title graphic says. So, I think that it's time for some explanation of what is going on behind the scenes at J2C.

1. The Fan Art and Info Center
J2C, as with all J2 sites, has delays on projects. However, we all know that the Fan Art and Info Center have been delayed way too long. What's the hold up? I'm not so sure myself to tell you the truth. Onag has control over those two sections, (which are both pretty much finished, btw) and I'm still not sure when he's going to get them posted. I've been keeping in touch with him as much as I can, but he's a busy guy. I would like to extend apologies to everybody for our incompetence.

2. DethMan & Onag
As you have noticed, I am pretty much the only person who updates the news these days. What happened to the two presidents of this site? Neither of them have left the Jazz 2 community, but neither of them have much time to work on J2C anymore. You just sorta have to look at it this way: If you were going to college, working at a job, and had many other things that you had to do, how much time do you think you'd be spending on a site like this? Probably not much. I don't think Deth or Onag will be updating this site for a long time, although I'm sure they'll return someday. You should now direct news, downloads, site problems, etc to me. Hopefully I'll still be able to squeeze the Fan Art and Info Center out of Onag though...

3. The Future of J2C
Jazz 2 City is not going to be taken off the Internet. I plan for it to at least be up through the production of Jazz 3. I must admit that it is overwhelming for me to be maintaining both this site and Jazz 2 Stuff almost by myself, but I will continue to do my best to inform and entertain the Jazz Jackrabbit community as long as I can, and I'm sure the rest of the staff will do their best to achieve the same goal. You'll be happy to know that my first priority is to update the ToD's. From there I will procede by surveying the site and updating anything that needs to be updated.

I hope that cleared up a few rumors. Thank you for your continual support of this site.
