1/9/99 - 13:07 - Jazz Comedy Central

Alienator recently released a new site called Jazz Comedy Central. He sent me this e-mail about it:

You can now get your own free virtual redirector from us, (Jazz Comedy Central) http://jcc.isfun.net. Just sign up at the bottom of the page and you'll get an email within 5 hours. (yourname.isfun.net). FOR FREE! Note : this is not a real domain name but is a redirector. It will redirect you to a homepage that you already have. So if you don't have a homepage, don't bother. You can also get a yourname.iscool.net from http://iscool.net.

Want to get 70 frames per second in multiplayer with your 56K modem? You might be able to do it. Just use the following settings in Jazz 2:

Hardware Mode on
Detail low

Thanks to Martin and Roaster for the info.

1/7/99 - 20:15 - The Long Trip Home

Here's more news on Roaster's upcoming level pack, The Long Trip Home: (I hope you can understand it better than I can ;)

[The Long Trip Home] will 12 episodes long each with 10 levels, 2 endings, and 2 pathes. Each time you beat an episode the storyline is left unknown until the next episode. By using this i can release levels earlier and people only have to download one episode if they want. Of course, You can download the whole 120 Pack and get 2 secret levels, and a secret 3rd level. A demo will be released with 6 levels for every Episode, In the full episode, after those 6 levels, The pathes branch, thus adding the 2 endings.

1/5/99 - 18:36 - J2C Uni-Res

As a result of our resolution viewing poll, I've made a *drum roll please*

Unified Resolution Viewing Of Jazz 2 Ci--

Nevermind that. You get the point. Our Uni-Res allows 640x480, and even 1600x1200 resolution surfers to view J2C comfortably. It simply gets rid of the top and bottom frame image backgrounds, and puts a scroll-bar on the menu. It's uglier, sure; but if you prefer to view at 640x480, then this is for you. Click here to view J2C in Uni-Res.

1/5/99 - 11:50 - New Poll

I'm late again, and have no excuse... but atleast this poll's relavent to JJ2 =) Anyway, last week's poll results had 119 votes and they are:

Got everything I wanted, including the shotgun! (good) (73) 61%

Fine. Got some good stuff. (mediocre) (37) 31%

Terrible; all I got were clothes! (bad) (9) 8%

I feel sorry for those 9 people =) Don't forget to answer this week's poll about playing JJ2.
