Clashing Heros 3D 21:56
As you may remember, Bartman announced Clashing Heros 3D awhile ago. (You can download the original Clashing Heros here.) Anyway, DevanKiller, the president of Zapped Productions, is programming the engine. However, he needs pictures so he can see what the game should be like. If you enjoy making graphics and would like to help, contact Bartman.

The Secret Files Review! 17:19
I was just surfing the web a little while ago for some jazz 2 city news when I found a link that led to a nice Secret Files Review. If you want to read the review yourself, then go to >http://www.gemonthly.com/reviews/jazz2-tsf/index.htm

SF Demo Info 16:58
Devankiller wrote a review of the TSF demo, which was posted on Jazz Central. The following is what he said. It doesn't look like the demo is worth downloading if you already have the full version of TSF.

First let me give you some of the details what the demo contains :

Not so many things are new as you can see.

Lori also isn't much new.

The positive of the TSF levels is that they're really huge! It took me quite a time to finish them.

There are also 3 new music files included, however only 2 of them are used by the Jazz Jack Rabbit 2 TSF Demo.

Also is the 5 tilesets of TSF included in the package while there only are 2 used !

Another dumb fact is that you can only play treasure hunt only on your own computer of via network and not via Internet.

Well that's all for this short (p)review of Jazz Jack Rabbit 2 TSF Demo. This (p)review has been created by ErikP AKA DevanKiller. To download the demo go to here.

Revive The Community! 23:25
I recently received an email for Jeh, Its really cool! you can read it below!

Hi Guys,
I'd just like to announce that a small part of the Jazz 2 community has been revived! Games in Progress is now online again, with a new location and more accessibility. I've taken Sean's old code and edited it a little and put it up again at http://table.jps.net/cgi-bin/cgiwrap/ladyice/gip.cgi . However, it doesn't allow you to start games through it any more though. It's design just to be used as a resource to see if games are running and also to see if the list servers are functioning. Thanks :)

Jon

BBP 23:25
Want to advertise your level or website online without even hosting a server? Thanks to Spaztic, you can. All you need to do is send him your level (Battle only, I think) and it will be hosted on a server in the Balistic Bunny Pack. (BBP) For full details, visit the news page on The Rabbit Hole. (Look at the headlines for 4/21.)

Mistake 23:24
Yesterday I posted that the J2 servers were back up. It turns out that this is not true; I misunderstood what Larry Boy told me. Sorry for the incorrect info. Of course, the Server List Patch will still let you play Party Mode.

Poll Delay 19:20
Dethman has turned over the poll to me, so every other week I will be updating it with a new question. Unfortunately, I have not gotten a good start on my new job. I have tons of homework to do, not leaving any time for this site today. So, please be patient for a day or two, and I'll have a new poll up ASAP.

New Tricks 11:54
Martin has come up with two new Jazz 2 related tricks:

How to make the earth shake in a Jazz 2 level:

1. Make a small empty room near the place that you wish to shake. (It's also a good idea to cover it up in the 3rd layer) Make sure the room is big enough to house 2-3 rocks.

2. Place 2-3 rocks in the room. Each one needs to be at least 2 spaces apart from the wall and the other rocks. Set the X-Speed at 7.

3. Without going too far away from the room you created, place Trigger Rock events over the area that you wish to shake as the player goes by.

Notes: You may have to make more than one room depending on the size of your level or the area you wish to shake. View this screenshot if you didn't understand those instructions.

Lori's "side kick dash":

To activate Lori's "secret" move, press Run 4-8 times, hold down the Down button, and press Jump. Lori will literally fly off the screen!

Muckammo Webpage 11:37
Muckammo has created a new Jazz 2 page. It has info on the game and a cool weekly poll. Check it out here.
