Anniversary 21:51
Believe it or not, April 9 is the one-year anniversary of Jazz 2; the shareware of the awesome game was released on that day. To celebrate, stripe is putting together a "best of Jazz2" CTF pack, which will be hosted all day on Friday, April 9. Be sure to be there for lots of fun.

Need Cash? 21:04
If the answer to that question is "yes" I think I have a solution. You can make $20 or more per month by signing up at www.AllAdvantage.com. All that you need to do is be online and every hour you'll make $.50. You're probably asking "What's the catch"? The thing is, there is none. If there was, I wouldn't be posting this here. :) When you sign up, mention this ID when it asks for "Your referrer's ID#" : AOD-538

JPL 20:15
JPL (Jazz 2 Players League) is the newest Jazz 2 site. Its purpose is to settle the overasked question: Which clan is the best? Go to the JPL site now and sign up your clan for battling. Who knows, your clan might end up being the best...
JC Offline 20:00
Jazz Central is currently offline. I'm not sure why and I'm not sure when the site will be back up, but StevenT is working on the problem...

Tileset Tutorial 22:19
The Unofficial Daily Carrot posted a tileset tutorial on how to create tilesets using Paint Shop Pro. The tutorial was written by F. Quist of J2LC, and I do not believe that it is completely finished yet.
Perhaps even better news is that Alienator is going to create a tileset tutorial for Paint, which has been wanted by many for a long time now.
P2 & Acclaim 22:14
The Secret Files is now going to be distributed in the UK and Ireland through Acclaim. Here's what Project 2 had to say:
This week Project Two Interactive has announced that its distribution in the United Kingdom and Ireland will be handled exclusively by Acclaim Entertainment Ltd.
"This is a logical step for us", announced John Williams, International Sales Director for Project Two. "We have worked very succesfully and have had a really good relationship with Acclaim Germany over the last two years. Acclaims expertise in this market speaks for itself and we want to use that experience to establish Project Two as a respected publisher within the U.K. and Ireland."
"This stands as a testament to our extensive sales and distribution strenght in the UK and we are actively looking for other complimentary affiliate labels for the UK", said Ian Curran, general manager of Acclaim UK. The deal, which was signed late last week, will run for two years.
The first product to be released by Acclaim in the U.K. will be Jazz Jackrabbit2 The Secret Files and this will be closely followed by the release of Tunguska and Liath, both adventure games for the PC. Through the rest of 1999 a further 7 or 8 titles covering some 15 to 18 skus will be released into the U.K. market.

Polls Go Weird 20:45
The polls have been going at irregular times lately... bummer for some, and just plain weird for others =) Anyway, here's last "week's" poll results:
If imports are availible, will you still buy TSF? (127 total votes)
Yes (DuH, of course I would) (91) -72%- No (Imports are expensive..) (13) -10%- I don't know (didn't I tell you that last time? ;-) (23) -18%-
Now on to this week's poll.. you didn't think I said the polls went weird just because of some late posting, DID you? :-) Maybe weirdness has taken over the galaxy... for one long horrid week anyway =)

More on the hacks 22:02
While some people, even some sites, claim that UnKnOwN hacked J2C, UnKnOwN states that it was another person, and right now we believe him. Just to set things straight here, there is no solid-proof, so we can't just say that he's the hacker.. and in reality, we can't prove that he isn't... hey, maybe I even hacked it, who knows? =P
