Well, since I'm now under a one hour a day computer curfew, I won't have the time to play that many games and keep up with this board, as I have my web design biz to keep up with. I'll still pop my head into games every once in a while, and maybe later decide the future of JPL, but for now, cya all later. It'll been fun. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Well, seems that its tomorrow in the east coast, I can use up my one hour now . Well, I'm not techinically *leaving*, I'm just, um, taking a leave of absence. I'll try to keep in touch as much as possible with everyone. Taa-taa, until tomorrow's hour strikes again. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Eek. It's worse than I hoped. It seems I can only use the 1 hour for "educational" purpose, and occasionally going online. So, obviously, I cannot balance my status in the community with my parent's concern over schoolwork, and I must leave the community. It has been nice knowing you all, esp. some of you for quite some time. (Deth, Onag, Steven, Admael, Roaster, Giz, and Aphro come to mind. Thanks guys (and gals!)) Maybe I'll see you guys around sometime on ICQ or just, well, somewhere. Toodles! Requiescat in peace. IP: Logged |

sounds like the ol' paranoid reaction to columbine high has done it again this time the victim is Ice. Unless there's another reason your losing computer time most like'll it's probably something do with a certain High School in Colorado, eh Ice? Another victim of the (heck)hole folks. We gotta speak out strongly about this kinda stuff!! 8| jb! IP: Logged |

Ok, I've got 5 min. to type this. =) 1. It has nothing to do with Columbine, its just my parent want me to be an overachiever and study 24/7. 2. Stuff is good....and will always be good. Except when Rocky is around, then stuff will be great. 3. Q Productions is a solo thingie, and it's not that great, I've only had 3 major paying clients so far, and the only thing that I spent more than 5 minutes on was the main image on the index page. 4. Curfew DOES suck, but it has its advantages (i.e. by following curfew, I gain the trust of my parents and may eventually gain computer time back. ) Thanks for the concern. Talk to you all later. ~Ice IP: Logged |

Well, this is mostly brought on because I've had straight A's all my life until my freshman year in H.S., when I bombed the final and got a B+ in Algebra 2. I guess its my fault, starting all these onlinen "things" this year, and such they think the computer is what is driving my grades down. IP: Logged |

Geez. If anything, this message board an' stuff is making you smarter. (Yeah, I'm a straight A student too. It's hard, but I manage so my parents don't kill computer time. ) ------------------ IP: Logged |

Yeah, its hard to be perfect in every way like Giz, but getting straight A's is pretty hard for me....I took Algebra 2 in 9th grade, and the B+ kind of dampened my hopes for a computerized sophmore year. I'll still be posting around here everyone once in a while, just to KIT. BTW, Q Productions merged with another web design company. Wow. Yeesh. Dang. Well cya 'til ur next computer time arrives... Algebra 2 as a Freshman ya say? Well i'm gonna be doin' that too, once i get there...Hmm....the cursed Algebra 2....hope it won't affect me like it did to you. And, well, allow me to let you in on some curfew-corner-cuts. Yes, i've been thro' a *lot* of curfew/grounding, ask Rocky, he'd know. (like everytime he askes, "Can u play?" i say, "well....i'm grounded again.") Rule 1. Don't go past your limit while they are home. Get all your studying that you can *while* they're home. Then when they leave is your time to get in some comp time. Rule 2. Learn to shut-down quick. Let's say your parents leave and you want some comp time. You get on, yadda yadda yadda, and you notice that you're parents are driving up the driveway. Do whatevr it takes. SHUT DOWN. Don't say bye when you're chatting. Maybe don't even bother to shut down properly. 'Jus press da button. Rule 3. Kiss up. And i mean it. Kiss they're filthy no-good arse. Yes, belive me it works. The best way to do it is to, let's say clean your room or the dishes when they *don't ask*. They love that stuff. No, maybe it won't do anythig dramatic anytime soon, but it might extend your curfew to longer, in a shorter amount of time. Rule 4. Maybe actually do what they tell you. Yes, it sounds scary but it just might work. Get studying *hard* on Alegbra 2. Either that or bribe the teacher. But that's a whole 'nother story.... ____________________ Well thsose are a few tricks i picked up, and i hope they help you. ------------------ "Cheezey Stuff is Good!"™ UIN: 14496625 Copyright © 1997-1999 Cheeze, All Rights Reserved. I feel sorry for you...I can symathize. I can only use the computer after eight(not as many people call then). My Dad usually wants me to go to websites and print things out for him when I use the comp, though. IP: Logged |

Well, I get lucky today. Today's my birthday, I'm now 15, and I get to use the computer all day. It still sucks, though....my dad has been out of town for 3 days already on a business trip, and my sister has already gone off to college, and so I haven't gotten anything for my birthday this year . After my SAT prep class this afternoon, I have to get braces. It's a lousy B-Day, but at least I get to use the computer. Who knows? I might see you guys later. ------------------ IP: Logged |
